Grotek Kick Start

This formula is designed for the initial stage of growth when young seedlings or freshly rooted cuttings need their first dose of additional fertilizer.

Kick Start was formulated for seedlings and young plants to ensure necessary minerals are available during this critical phase of growth. This formula contains a synergistic blend of minerals, which are fortified with beneficial organic matter to drive root growth and plant development. Kick Start can be used on any plant after root development to support growth in the first few weeks of a plant’s life. This formula provides elevated levels of micronutrients such as zinc and iron in an easily-absorbable form, which are essential during initial stages of plant development. The mineral and plant-derived ingredients in this formula work together to support plant development while improving abiotic stress tolerance such as heat, drought, or overwatering. Focused on root development and early leaf growth, this formulation ensures a strong start on the path to success.

Extended Application Rate

• Seedlings: Mix 2 ml per 1 L of water (0.5 tsp per 1.25 qt). Repeat application every 5−7 days until plants enter the vegetative growth stage, then switch to a full fertilizer program.
• Rooted Cuttings: Mix 2−3ml per 1 L of water (0.5-0.75 tsp / 1.25 qt). Repeat application every 5−7 days until the plants enter the vegetative growth stage, then switch to a full fertilizer program.
• Transplants: Mix 5 ml per 1L of water (1 tsp / 1 qt). Repeat 2 weeks after first application. Ensure adequate water until plants are well established.
